4 tbsp Quinoa
125 mL Almond Milk
100 mL Water
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/8 tsp Cardamom
1 tbsp Almond Butter
Toppings: Berry Chia Jam, Banana, Pecan
Soak, drain and rinse quinoa (ideally overnight but itβs okay if you donβt).
Place quinoa, almond milk and water in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 mins, until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
Add spices and almond butter, mix well.
Serve in a bowl, add a splash of almond milk to avoid a dry texture. Top with your favorite toppings, I went for banana, homemade berry chia jam (recipe is on the website) and pecan nuts. Enjoy!
